Attorney Abigail C. Seymour practices family law at the Law Office of Stephen E. Robertson, PLLC, helping clients in a wide range of family law matters, including child custody, domestic violence matters, and guardianship. She is fluent in Spanish and serves the firm’s Hispanic clients. Abigail was drawn to the practice of law after a successful career as a journalist and documentary photographer. In her prior career, she was published in the New York Times and was featured on NPR’s “The State of Things.”
As a student at Elon University School of Law, Abigail interned at the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina, the Guilford County Public Defender’s Office, and the Elon University Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic. Abigail was part of a group of students who visited the Karnes Detention Center in Texas in 2015, offering pro bono legal aid to detained immigrant women and children.
Abigail’s warmth and commitment to her clients’ best interests have earned her a distinguished reputation in the legal community, where she serves as Vice President of the local chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys.
