Stephen E. Robertson

Managing Attorney


Biography: For over 20 years, Mr. Robertson has represented Greensboro and North Carolina residents and their families in legal matters involving North Carolina Family Law. His legal practice covers a wide range of family law issues, particularly child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division cases. During that time, Steve has earned the professional respect of the legal community in North Carolina. Now, he has expanded his scope to Bankruptcy Law where he will continue to serve clients in both Family and Bankruptcy Law.

Education: B.A. degree from Villanova University and J.D. degree from Temple University.

Jennifer Ledford



Biography: Ms. Ledford’s principal areas of practice are bankruptcy, appeals, business bankruptcy, and workouts.  She is a member of the Bankruptcy Section of the North Carolina Bar Association as well as being a former chair of the Section. She has also been the chair CLE committee of the Bankruptcy Section and in charge of the NC Bar Association Annual Bankruptcy Institute. In addition, she has served as the Secretary of the Bankruptcy Section and an at-large member of the Section Council.  Ms. Ledford started her legal career clerking at the North Carolina Court of Appeals for Judge Ralph Walker and for Judge John Tyson. In addition to being of counsel, at the firm, Ms. Ledford teaches Bankruptcy Law at Elon University School of Law as well as Business Law at Elon University and Guilford College.

Education: B.A. degree from Davidson College and J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law

John R. Evans



Biography: Mr. Evans has extensive experience in civil litigation, administrative law, and real estate law.  He began his career as an Employment and Civil Rights lawyer, primarily representing employees alleging discrimination and retaliation against their employers. He then worked for the National Labor Relations Board as a Field Attorney, where he worked to protect workers’ rights to organize labor unions against some of the largest corporations in the world. Throughout his career, Mr. Evans has also handled many Real Estate matters, from instances of corruption and exploitation in Section 8 housing voucher programs to conducting hundreds of real estate closings in the Triad.

Education: B.A. degree from the University of Kentucky and J.D. degree from Elon University School of Law

Philip Boyers



Biography: Mr. Boyers is a fully licensed and accredited attorney with experience in different areas of law such as Family Law, Business Litigation, Personal Injury, Real Estate, Construction, and Employment law; and is no stranger to the laws and regulations of Guilford County and surrounding Triad areas. Mr. Boyers also has a background in teaching students and training staff. His work in multiple areas of law as well as his skills as an instructor give him a unique approach to how he works and communicates with his clients.

Education: B.A. History and B.A. Peace, War, and Defense from the University of Chapel Hill, and J.D. from Wake Forest University, School of Law.

Lisa Stewart



Biography: Ms. Stewart has been representing individuals and families in High Point, Greensboro, and the surrounding counties since 2009.   Her principal areas of practice include family law, particularly divorce, property division, spousal support, child custody, child support, and adoptions,; Social Security Disability; Misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases; Department of Social Services Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency cases; and Termination of Parental Rights cases.  Ms. Stewart has been active in the local community as a scout leader and PTA volunteer. She was the President of the Mediation Society at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.

Education: B.A. Degree from Furman University, M.A. Degree in Education from Furman University, and J.D. Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.

Yuni Nguyen

Business Manager


Biography: Ms. Nguyen has been a leader of many corporations for over her 25 year career as she has overseen their successful operations. She has started several successful businesses of her own and believes in the value of education, hard work, and a strong work ethic. She oversees the firm’s business and daily operations, as well as the firm’s paralegals, legal assistants, and staff.

In her spare time, Ms. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and cooking.

Education: B.A. in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton in 1996
